CHICAGO (AP) — The Boston Red Sox recalled infielder Bobby Dalbec and left-hander Chris Murphy from Triple-A Worcester on Friday.Boston also placed infielder Pablo Reyes on the 10-day injured list before the opener of a three-game series at the Chicago White Sox. Reyes, who is batting .303 in 27 games this season, has an abdominal strain.Pitchers Brandon Walter and Tayler Scott were sent down after Thursday’s 6-0 loss at Minnesota. Scott was acquired in a trade with the Dodgers for cash before the series finale against the Twins.Dalbec, who turns 28 next week, is batting .182 (2 for 11) in eight games with the Red Sox this year. (KDVR) — There are so many road closures in Elbert County after the recent rain that the county ran out of “road closed” signs. “When you have to go out and buy and borrow new signage just to cover your closures you know it’s a big event,” Elbert County Commissioner Chris Richardson said. According to Richardson, over the past month, the county has received about 25 inches of rain. In a typical year, Elbert County gets about 17 inches of moisture during an entire year. “Last week or two weeks ago you’d say this is beautiful, everything is green, the rain is wonderful. A driver accused of delivering danger to a Pembroke Pines homeowner is facing a serious charge.Surveillance video captured Sadiki Washington and the victim were engaged in a verbal altercation, Thursday morning.According to the homeowner and her attorney, Washington was making an Office Depot delivery during the 10 a.m. hour.But moments after the suspect showed up at the woman’s door, the security footage showed the encounter taking a violent turn.Washington was seen shoving the victim back into her home from her doorway.
